The "It's your climb" Story

When I learned to rock climb, I was constantly asking my mentor if I could hold onto this hold or put my foot in a certain spot or rest for awhile.  Eventually he just started saying, "it's your climb".  You climb it however you want.  Figure it out because no one is going to get you to the top except you.  That was a great lesson in life and self-awareness.  Today I help others discover that self-awareness is key to becoming a leader worth following. They in turn can then help those they lead become leaders worth following and it multiplies from there.  We can give you the tools, but only you can decide to climb.  It's your climb!
